Rain the Horse needs a home
Miz Dream Bars, aka "Rain", is a 16-year-old registered APHA Paint mare. Rain has mild-moderate navicular changes in both front feet, and requires front shoes and wedge pads (we have current X-rays available for review.) She is currently being ridden western at the walk and jog in our indoor ring, and walked under saddle down our farm path. She was previously used as a barrel racer, and is a forward moving mare. She goes over bridges and poles, and has been exposed to tarps,plastic bags, noodle curtain etc. Rain stands on crossties, and is fine for grooming, hosing, & tacking up. She gets along great in a herd, is easy to catch, and other than her shoeing requirements is a very easy keeper. She can be stalled, but prefers living outside. Her only quirk is she does get nervous having shoes put on, and needs to be sedated for this (she is fine for trimming).
